The Vapor 12s is one of Old Town’s newest get-in-and-go kayaks. This sporty kayak offers a stable efficient, and comfortable ride and is designed to cover a wide variety of paddling activities. Ideal for lakes, estuaries and protected waters, The Vapor 12s goes way beyond the basics with features. With the adjustable Comfort Flex seat with a padded seat, adjustable foot braces, and thigh pads, you get a secure and comfortable paddling position. The molded-in paddle rest gives you a place for your paddle while you’re eating of shooting photographs of your friends. The cockpit dash offers a cup holder and storage for small items. Built in sturdy grab handles make loading and unloading a breeze. Like other Vapor series models, the truly revolutionary design feature of the Vapor 12s is the stern Day Well. The outer edges of the Day Well are higher than the cockpit rim and well above the water; your lunch and other items stay dry above the waves and out of the dripped-in and tracked-in mud and water in the bilge of the kayak. Also available are the Old Town Vapor 10XT and 12XTS models which include a cover on the Day Well to keep your belongings out of the sun and rain, a bungee to hold your paddle in the paddle-park, additional seat and seat-back padding, and a bungees iPad storage area for your portable elctronics.
